Support Letter

I have started the process of earning my Tattoo license. License requirements include 200 hours of supervised tattooing overseen by a licensed artist who is authorized to sign off on my license. I have met an artist who has agreed to take me on and oversee my hours at Fleur Knows Tattoo.

The apprenticeship cost is $8,000 not including materials and licensing fees.

I will be raising money to cover the apprenticeship fee.

I know many people who have gotten Christian tattoos, but I don't know any Christian tattoo artists. In asking around, my extended spheres don't know any either. Which stirs my heart to ask “who is going to these places with Jesus then?” The parlors, events, conventions etc, who is walking with Jesus in those spaces?

My heart for tattooing is to carry Jesus into places that have been so dark before. What God put on my heart specifically is prophetic tattooing, renewal, healing, forgiveness. It is also my dream to create a space where God is the center of this art form.

I don't intend to exclusively work with Christians. I intend to work with those who don't know Him yet and pray over them intentionally before, during, and after they come in. In addition, the design of their tattoo, I intend to find specific Bible verses to turn into designs for them that speak the identity, destiny, the eternity that is in the heart of man. The dream for this when I asked God, is that these tattoos on non-believers would be beacons that bring dreams of God, divine encounters, favor, blessings, and deep connections with others who deeply know Jesus.

I don't intend to exclusively work with Christians. But I also want to hold a beautiful, God-filled space to host others who know Jesus and partner with them in putting the remembrance of what God has done on their body, cover up unwanted tattoos, as well as support missionaries and Evangelists who will use their body art to start conversations and share Jesus with those around them. I also will be a training resource for others coming up to equip and send more Holy Spirit filled tattoo artists into this field.

If there is any excess in funds, this will go towards licensing fees, materials such as needles and ink, and renting space in the future~

I'm currently working on several flash sheets, including at least a whole separate one for the names of God. I have also been talking with a lot of fellow Christians about tattoos that they got before knowing Jesus and now want to make more meaningful to their identity anf walk with God as a new creation!
Below are some pictures of what some of the tattoo ideas have been. The tree is a very meaningful cover up for a tattoo that was originally a snake symbolizing something that this person no longer claims as their identity!
It is so beautiful to walk with this person as they shared their feelings and the redemption they felt with a tree design over their old tattoo.
I really believe that I will be covering up many tattoos for new believers and bringing hope in this area! I’ve been pressing in with God and feel a huge heart for tattoo cover ups!
